A workout app where every rep levels you up.
A fitness app for people who stick with games longer than gym routines. Every major muscle group gets its own rating, and every logged workout pushes it forward — so getting stronger feels like progress you can actually see, not just a number on a plate.
The challenge
Most fitness apps track workouts as raw numbers — sets, reps, weight on the bar — none of which feels like progress day to day. A founder wanted training to feel like a game: visible levels, visible growth, a reason to open the app beyond guilt.
What we built
A gamified strength-training tracker for mobile that rates and levels up every major muscle group as you train.
- A per-muscle rating and leveling system — each major muscle group is tracked and leveled independently, so you can see exactly what's improving and what's lagging
- Workout logging that feeds directly into muscle levels — every set and session moves the needle
- Visual progress screens showing level-ups muscle by muscle, not just a single overall score
- Cross-platform from one codebase, shipped to both iOS and Android
- Push notifications for workout reminders and streaks
After we shipped it, the app secured funding — validation that turning strength training into a leveling system wasn't just a fun idea, it was one people wanted to keep training with.
The technical foundation
One React Native codebase ships to both iOS and Android. Supabase handles authentication and data, with row-level security so each user's workout history and muscle ratings stay private and tied to their own account.
The outcome
A fitness app that made "did I get stronger this week" a visible, game-like answer instead of a guess — and one the founder was able to secure funding for after we shipped it.
